Welcome to the renovation of our 1993 kitchen turning this space into one of our favorite rooms that reflects our personality and fits into our lifestyle was important but wanted style, warmth, and functionality. Keeping the original structure of the kitchen was a must and modern aesthetics was key to the renovation. Clean lines, neutral color palette, and champagne gold hardware for an elegant aesthetic.
We needed to upgrade to new Cabinets, Champagne gold hardware and new backsplash tile. I decided to go with a quartz countertop and LVP plank flooring because of the easy upkept of both materials. Did I make the right decision? time will tell!!
We did Decide on buying new energy efficient appliances that was a must and also needed LED lighting to being the kitchen into the 21st century.

During the four-month renovation process every detail was planned and executed. The goal was to turn the space into a beautiful and practical living area that enhance everyday living. I accomplished most of what I wanted in this space. You have to work with what you have, and your budget. We didn't want to chance the layout of the kitchen that would blow our budget out of the water. I added more storage and what I call a mini entrance mudroom. I made the kitchen space a place that is more organized and works with our lifestyle.
